Heritage Club

The Heritage club endeavours to inculcate a feeling of pride and love for the rich cultural legacy left behind by our ancestors. It was established with a motive of creating awareness and participation in heritage related activities among the students. Our School believes in valuing and preserving the rich heritage of our country’s composite culture.

Every student who becomes a member of Heritage Club is motivated to participate in heritage conservation and to learn more about their local and natural heritage. Through this club students are briefed about the aims and objectives to form such a group and our expectations from the member students in regards to their respective efforts for our country’s heritage. Under the close supervision of the teachers, they are made aware about the special arts and architecture of ancient India, medieval and modern India as well as rituals and customs.

The club intends to make its presence felt through activities like skits, occasions like Republic day, Independence Day and many more highlighting the national and religious traditions of India. Special assemblies are organized on the Birthdays of great leaders and to make students aware about their local heritage. The club organizes various excursions to enriching field trips that contribute to the development of students into civilized young men and women who possess more knowledge about art, have stronger critical-thinking skills, exhibit increased historical empathy, display higher levels of tolerance, and have a greater taste for consuming art and culture.
