Performing arts are a means to introduce subtler aspects and dimensions into student perception and are integral part of the curriculum. The Scholars’ Home believes in involving students into the performing arts, blending connoisseurship, entertainment and education in a package that makes it attractive for children. Exposure to the arts at a young age will lay the foundation for a culture of understanding and appreciation that will hopefully last lifetime. Students are encouraged to experiment with and develop creativity. Students are exposed to various genres, in both Indian and Western styles of music and dance. Students who display a certain talent, perseverance, passion and dedication towards a certain art are considered for focused attention.
Music education comprises of general music classes in both Junior and Senior level, with a focus of setting a firm foundation in simple tunefulness and basic rhythm. Moreover, students may also opt for dance classes where the teachers focus on a perfect combination of expression, melody, rhythm and dance. The classes offer activities that build their skills in all aspects. Apart from this various activities and stage performances are organized by the club time to time.
