The new session 2018-19 began on a very promising note. The Teachers’ Orientation Program, spearheaded by the Principal – Ms Anju Arora, was aimed at introducing the school and its ethos to the new teachers and a quick brush up for all of us. Needless to say, we are all charged, motivated and so looking forward to the year ahead.
Teaching and learning is an on-going process. You are never taught enough, you have never learned enough. We, the teachers at TSH, walk the talk. Hence, right before the start of the new session, a series of workshops were lined up for us, to keep moving the wheel of learning.
4th and 5th April 2018 —-Orientation of teachers by the Principal, Mrs. Anju Arora. To brush up the Philosophy and Ethos of our school. A timely and apt reminder of our roles as teachers and mentors.
Attended by Sapna Punj
Two days of intense brainstorming, exchange of ideas with the school counselors, psychologists and gynecologists on safeguarding the interests, creating awareness and empowering our adolescents. One of the biggest challenges our kids face today is the paradigm shift in the structure of family dynamics. Looking forward to sharing some practical coping strategies with the family called TSH.
Workshop by Rishabh Khanna
28th and 30th July —– teachers had a very thorough and a concrete session with Rishab Khanna on Critical Thinking. The topics were very thoughtfully selected. Each one of us went back with a bag full of takeaways from these hours of learning, re-learning and unlearning.
A creative writing workshop was conducted by Sapna Punj to help the teachers in the craft of writing constructive remarks for their students.
